Prachi Apte (Hindustani Vocal)
Prachi Apte is the co-founder of MICMC. She is a vocalist, trained in both Classical and light music. Her mother, Mrs.Sujata Apte, has played a key role in shaping Prachi's vocal style and inculcating a strict discipline for sur-taal. Prachi has had Hindustani classical training from Pt. Prabhakar Dharmadhikari, Mrs. Swarada Sathe and Mrs. Vibha Sampath. For the past two years, she has been learning from Ms. Anuradha Kuber, a young and prominent performer of the Bhendi Bazar gharana.

As a member of the local Inmusic band, Prachi has performed at many community and private events across the Midwest. Prachi also enjoys participating in music competitions to keep herself motivated. Recently, she won the Spandana Supersinger title, was a finalist in the iamnextsuperstar challenge (judged by Mr. Suresh Wadkar and Mr. Sonu Nigam) and recorded for channel tpt-MN for Geetmala Season 2011.

Pallavi Dharwada (Carnatic Vocal)
Pallavi learnt Carnatic vocal music from Dr.Pantula Rama, a TOP grade artiste in All India Radio in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. She won several prestigious awards and prizes in India at both state and central level including the south central zone thirty-minute concert-competition conducted by the Government of Karnataka in the year 1999. Pallavi was awarded the Senior-level scholarship for the period 1998-2000 by the Government of India, Ministry of human resources. She represented Andhra Pradesh in the National Youth Festivals conducted in Ahmedabad in the year 2000.

Pallavi performed concerts at various prestigious venues in India such as Kala Samithi, Saraswati Gana Sabha, N.Ch.Parishad and in U.S. at Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA and Columbus, OH. Pallavi performed in rare musical projects such as Nowka Charitram and Prahlada Bhakti Vijayam - the two Musical Operas of Sri Tyagaraja. Pallavi is the co-founder of Minnesota Indian Classical Musicians Club (MICMC) that promotes local talent in the Minneapolis twin-cities area and actively volunteers for Indian Music Society of Minnesota(IMSOM), the premier Indian arts and cultural organization in Twincities. Pallavi currently works for Honeywell in Minneapolis.

Krishnakumar Iyer (Carnatic Vocal)
Krishnakumar Iyer has learnt Carnatic vocals for 5 years from Mr. Venkataraman, Retd: Professor at Swati Tirunal Academy, Thiruvananthapuram. He has also been part of Inmusic, a Minneapolis based Indian light music band, from its inception in 2005. He has a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Minnesota and is a Supply Chain Manager by profession.

Vinod Krishnan (Carnatic Vocal)
Vinod Krishnan has been a student of Carnatic music since his childhood. Initiated by his mother, he has had the opportunity to learn from great teachers like Neyveli Santhanagopalan and Madurai TN Seshagopalan. Currently, he is receiving training from Madurai R. Sundar, who is also a disciple of TN Seshagopalan. Vinod has also forayed into Western classical music on the keyboard and Hindustani Classical and often composes for fun.

Maduri Narsimhan (Carnatic Veena)
Maduri has been learning veena for the last 4 years. She started under the tutelage of Mrs Revathy Srinivasan, and continues to learn from Mrs Nirmala Rajasekar. She has participated in various events including Veena Conference at Chicago and Festival of Nations at Minneapolis. She is a software engineer by profession.

Balaji Sridhar (Carnatic Mridangam)
Balaji has learnt Mridangam with various teachers for about 10 years in India and is interested in drums from all around the world.

Susmitha Sanjeevi (Carnatic Vocal)

Susmitha Sanjeevi has been training in Carnatic music since she was three years old. She trained under Sri Samanthavadi Raghavendrachari, an All India Radio audition
member for seven years. She has given performances on stage, television and radio.
